Who we are

Daytona Live Comedy is a collaboration between Roy Sheppard and Tim Blalock. Tim is a Daytona native and Roy, while originally from Jacksonville, has been living here for over 15 years.

We both started doing comedy in 2021 at roughly the same time (literally, just three weeks apart). Now, Tim is the regular host of The Last Laugh (one of the longest running comedy open-mics in the whole state, est. 2010!), and Roy produces shows for Don’t Tell Comedy in the Daytona area.

Together, we produce all of our original shows under the DLC banner. We want to see the local comedy scene grow and ultimately be a thriving part of Daytona’s unique culture, so we launched this website as a one-stop shop where you can find info on all of the live comedy happening around town.
